Irene Chung is a journalist, illustrator, and art director based between Providence and Taipei.
Irene Chung is a multidisciplinary illustrator based between Taipei, Taiwan, and Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her Bachelor's degrees in Health Sciences and Journalism from Boston University and is finishing her MFA in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her written and illustrated works can be found in the Boston Globe, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, La Vie Taiwan, Shopping Design, Mirror Fiction, and more. Her subjects of interest include food, women’s health, femininity, modern romance, memories, and loss.
She aspires to run her own publishing house one day and dedicated her publications to women in arts and culture.
